Leitz Tooling focuses on customer profitability at W16

Leitz Tooling will feature its latest innovations in high quality efficient tooling and their A+ energy rated timber window manufacturing ThermoTech System on stand D410 at the W16 Exhibition at the NEC in October. Visitors will also discuss their tooling servicing on stand, and following its runaway success at W14, Leitz will again be offering one-to-one tooling and production trouble-shooting sessions.

W16 gives UK furniture and joinery manufacturers the opportunity to see all products under one roof, from the latest tooling innovations and machinery to components and materials. All tooling from Leitz is manufactured and safety tested to BS EN847 standards helping to ensure the welfare of your staff, and Leitz will welcome customers and visitors to stand D410 can see some of the latest tooling technology available and bring their tooling troubles for individual consultation and expert advice.

Leitz’s tooling will also be seen in action on the stands of most major machinery manufacturers around the show.

Simon Liddell, managing director of Leitz Tooling UK said, “We have exhibited at all of the W Exhibitions, old and new. Our presence here refreshes existing relationships and helps us cultivate new ones, and we have the opportunity to reiterate the Leitz messages: increase productivity, reduce downtime, reduce noise, reduce scrap, improve quality and improve safety to name a just few.”

For ‘A+’ rated timber window production, Leitz Tooling will be showcasing its ThermoTech Window System; a complete, compliant and scalable system for the manufacture of high quality energy rated thermal windows achievable by both small and large manufacturers alike. British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) licenses are available for nearly 80 different variations of energy rated timber window manufacture.

Leading Leitz’s furniture production tooling solutions at W16 will be Leitz ProfilCut Q. This new generation of market-proven profile tooling system is now helping manufacturers around the world produce higher quality products, faster.  The majority of ProfilCut sales (60%) have been of the Premium version with its enhanced speed and accuracy, offers cutting speeds of up to 120 meters/second allowing for higher feed speeds and resulting in greater output.  ProfilCut Q enjoys particular success among window manufacturers, but it is also proving to be an essential tooling solution in furniture manufacturing, interior doors and stair production.

Tools – good as new

Leitz believes that when leaving one of their services stations, tools should be ‘as new’. Each of their service processes have been optimised for original producer quality. Cutting edge service techniques enable Leitz to give like-new performance throughout the lifetime of the tool, and reliable pick-up and delivery is tailored to your needs.

Simon Liddell continued, “Our overriding aim is to help our customers make money, be more profitable and truly understand the implications and benefits of manufacturing advances. We look forward to seeing any company that needs to keep up with market trends, are interested in efficiency savings and not get left behind. Our solutions are often far more straightforward than you think.”
